Omar, I am using XP still too and I think its the best OS as well. However, I do think that Windows 7 is going to be better than XP once it is finalized. With the new technology coming out every so often, XP keeps getting outdated without its integeration with everything. For example, I could install vista and it would get most of the drivers for me. It just gets easier and easier with all the new stuff coming out. Although, you probably won't be using this new stuff since your so old . Windows 7 will be faster than XP and keep the good things about Vista.

Define "finalized"...would that be service pack 3,4, or 5?
I enjoy rooting about for drivers...after all the newest driver is not always the best (see:nVidia)
I am old. With age comes wisdom. Some things are only learned by experience and cannot be taught in a classroom. While that infers that I am wise, it does not conclusively prove it.

One can only hope that the amount of time Microsoft has invested in Windows 7, it should be pretty well built... BTW, my post didn't mean any disrespect.

None taken. I am fully invested in old, especially since I have very little choice in the matter. However, I do have a say in my OS (at least until MS decides to quit "supporting" [lol] it" and I am quite happy to let everyone else "beta test" [lol x2] the new windows and take it for long walks by the shore, give it back rubs and spoon feed it. Then write me a concise tweak guide on how to strip out the bloatware and make it an OS to be proud of.
PS I would like to think I am wise. Then I go and do something stupid like date a 30-something bimbo ("she's perfect for you!") At that point I have to question both my wisdom and sanity......
Now I must go find out who that hot chick John Cusack was with at the inaugural.....

I'm still using XP. Although, I went to Vista32 on my ThinkPad.
Using the "7" in the name reminds me of the famous Mac OS nearly the same name. Hmmmmm.
